We are pleased to announce our new Supplier Code of Conduct. This ensures that our entire supply chain complies with our principles of environmental responsibility, social responsibility and good corporate governance. It replaces the previous sustainability and compliance guidelines for suppliers.
Content of the code of conduct for suppliers
The guideline covers the five core areas of our corporate strategy:
- Planet: environmental and climate topics
- People: social issues
- Product: Quality issues
- Profit: Economic issues
- Principles of Governance: Governance issues
Our own standards
Of course, we do not just expect these high standards from our suppliers, but also set them for ourselves. We have therefore also revised the internal guidelines on our sustainability policy and governance. It serves as a guideline for our commitment to the environment, social responsibility and corporate governance (ESG for short). It therefore sets out how we as a company can minimize our environmental and social impact while acting responsibly and transparently.
Why have we revised these guidelines?
Firstly, because we believe it is important to formalize our principles in the areas of sustainability and governance. Secondly, we are noticing increased interest in the market, which means that we are also increasingly being asked by our customers and suppliers whether we have such a guideline and what topics it covers.
