As always, the Argus Global Base Oils Conference 2025 was a highlight and an outstanding event that offered valuable insights into the future of the base oils and lubricants industry. We at AVISTA OIL Germany are proud to have been represented again this year by our subsidiary AVISTA Green, which acted as a silver sponsor.
The various panel discussions offered particularly exciting perspectives. For example, the discussion with Laura Carter from Slicker Recycling on the topic of ‘Women in Baseoil Business’ was inspiring and highlighted the importance of women in the industry. We also gained interesting insights into the future prospects of the recycling industry during the discussion with Mark Olpin from Slicker Recycling on the ‘Next Steps for RRBO’.
In addition to the panel discussions, the conference was an excellent opportunity for intensive networking. We had constructive meetings with customers and were able to make valuable contacts from the European market. We also had the opportunity to discuss our sustainable solutions in person in the separate meeting rooms.
Another major highlight was the popular ‘AVISTA meets ARGUS Dinner’, which was, as always, an all-round successful event for exchanging ideas about collaboration within the industry.
