On 1 December 2025, the company will take over the collection activities of MAIN B.V., thereby expanding its nationwide network for the collection of oil-containing waste.
This step is an important part of AVISTA OIL's strategic orientation to consistently expand its market position in the Dutch waste oil sector while securing the long-term supply of state-of-the-art European refineries in Germany and Denmark.
With this acquisition, AVISTA OIL B.V. is not only strengthening its market presence, but also creating an even more stable foundation for a sustainable supply chain within the entire AVISTA network. Lucie Musters, Managing Director of AVISTA OIL B.V., emphasises the significance of the acquisition: ‘With this acquisition, we are consolidating our position in the Netherlands and laying the foundation for a sustainable supply to our refineries. At the same time, we are improving our logistics and expanding our range of services.’ Her words sum up what AVISTA OIL stands for: reliable processes, efficient logistics and a clear focus on environmental responsibility.
From its locations in Roosendaal and Elst, AVISTA OIL B.V. operates the largest collection network for waste oil in the country and offers a wide range of services related to the collection and processing of oil-containing waste.
The integration of MAIN B.V.'s activities gives the company additional strength to make its services even more efficient and customer-oriented. Customers benefit from particularly reliable, safe and environmentally conscious collection and processing that meets the highest quality and sustainability standards.
We at AVISTA OIL are delighted about the addition to the group and wish our subsidiary in the Netherlands a successful start to this new chapter. Together, we are sending a strong signal for the further development of the European circular economy and the responsible use of valuable resources.
