Collective agreement and flexibility

Through our membership in the employers' association of the chemical industry, we enjoy all the advantages of a very progressive collective agreement. A balanced relationship between the collective bargaining partners ensures, for example, the economic participation of the employees in the success of the member companies. In addition to annual vacation and Christmas bonuses, there is a collective pension plan with extensive employer subsidies as part of deferred compensation. Furthermore, a large number of instruments are available to be able to react to the challenges of demographic development.

The collectively agreed weekly working time is 37.5 hours. With our flexible company working time regulations, we offer pragmatic solutions for the compatibility of family and career and a good work-life balance. Fathers on parental leave or working from the home office are not uncommon for us.

Development opportunities

With targeted training and further education measures, we encourage our employees to develop their professional and personal strengths. Internal staffing and career opportunities give our employees the opportunity to develop further within the group and to grow with new tasks.

Continuous feedback

Regular employee appraisals ensure constructive communication between employees and managers. The discussions focus on understanding work tasks, the work environment, cooperation and goals. At the same time, the need for qualification and support measures is identified.

Preferred conditions

At the Dollbergen site, employees receive particularly favorable terms when buying engine or two-stroke oil as well as saw chain adhesive and lawnmower oil for private use.

Regionality

The town of Dollbergen is about 35 km east of Hanover and can be easily reached by train via the Uetze-Dollbergen train station (Hannover - Wolfsburg line; GVH tariff area). The Hämelerwald junction to the A2 is also in the immediate vicinity.

AVISTA members do not have to travel far for performing the disposal activities. The disposal areas throughout Germany are subdivided in such a way that a daily journey from home is usually possible without any problems.

Targeted personnel development: "People & Places"

With “People & Places”, AVISTA OIL provides its employees with a systematic program for personal development. The participants work sustainably on the realization of their personal development goals and are supported by coordinated activities by managers and mentors. The aim is to realize personal talents and development wishes in dialogue with the organizational perspectives - talented leaders improve their leadership skills, talented organizers improve their project management skills, change managers improve their change management toolbox. The program promotes and demands the implementation of the content and is also open to a change of perspective in the ongoing process.

Diverse entry opportunities

Whether at the beginning, in the middle or in the full bloom of your career - AVISTA offers many possibilities.
